Statistics on the import and export volume and value of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) in 2017, as well as the import and export prices and quantities of such parts, show that in March 2017, China's import and export of valve parts increased by 38.24% compared with the same period of the previous year.
First, in terms of import volume, data shows that from January to March 2017, China's import volume of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) reached 9,400 tons, an increase of 38.24% compared with the same period of the previous year. In 2016, China's import volume of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) was 32,100 tons, an increase of 7.36% compared with the same period of the previous year.
The compound annual growth rate of the import volume of China's valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) (HS: 84819010) from 2013 to 2016 was 4.41%. See the figure below for details:

In terms of import value, according to data from Jiyan Consulting, the compound annual growth rate of the import value of China's valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) (Customs Code: 84819010) from 2013 to 2016 was 1.80%.
From January to March 2017, China's import value of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) was 289.13 million US dollars, an increase of 26.97% compared with the same period of the previous year. In 2016, China's import value of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) was 1,058.80 million US dollars, an increase of 0.42% compared with the same period of the previous year. In 2016, China's export volume of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) was 298,900 tons, a decrease of 5.35% compared with the same period of the previous year. In 2016, China's export value of valve parts (for pipelines, boilers, tanks, barrels or similar products) was 1,970.47 million US dollars, a decrease of 9.42% compared with the same period of the previous year.
